New Patients
Welcome to Donvale Dental Centre! Our new patient process is seamless and straightforward. When you call our office to book, you will be sent an email straightaway with the new patient form and records release form. We will then be able to obtain your dental records from your previous dentist at your request. After you complete them you can email the forms back to us or bring them into your appointment.
What to Expect
You’ll be greeted warmly when you enter the practice. If you haven’t completed your paperwork in advance you can do so now.
As we pride ourselves on running on time, you will be taken into the surgery to meet with Dr Mina Habib (Dentist).
Before we begin treatment, Mina will take some time to get to know you and what you hope to achieve from your care. We are keen to build rapport with every patient and make sure you feel comfortable and at ease.
Your comprehensive checkup process includes the following:
- Examination
- X-rays
- Fluoride treatment
Then your treatment plan will be presented to you. Mina will provide you with his recommendations for your plan of care before you leave the surgery. Next, Cassie, our dental assistant and receptionist, will go over the plan in greater detail, letting you know how long the appointments will be and the cost of your care and finance options.
If you had a negative experience at the dentist when you were younger or in recent years, we understand. To make your dental care as comfortable as possible, we offer both Penthrox® – “Green whistle,” an analgesic to provide fast and effective pain relief.
